Thermowood Construction – Thermowood is created by heat treating Scandinavian softwood to temperatures ranging from 180–230 °C in special chamber kilns for up to 96 hours. Steam is used as a protective gas and helps prevent the wood from splitting or becoming damaged during treatment.

Dimensionally Stable – Deep moisture and resin removal significantly reduces swelling, cracking, and shrinkage. Thermowood does not secrete sap or resin, even at high sauna temperatures.
Environmentally Friendly – Produced from PEFC-certified Scandinavian forests using only heat and steam, with no chemicals or additives.
Resistance to Rot and Fungi – The breakdown of hemicellulose removes nutrients required for rot and fungal growth.
